【报告题目】Live Imaging and Genetic Approaches for Circulation Research
Dr. Weijun Pan received his B.S. degree of Biochemistry at East China University of Science and Technology in 1999 and his Ph.D. degree of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Science in 2004. From 2005-2011, he went to Yale University and NIH for Postdoc training with Dr. Dianqing Wu and Dr. Brant Weinstein respectively. He became an Investigator of Shanghai Institutes of Biological Sciences in 2012. He was elected for Distinguished Young Scholars of National Thousand Talents Program in 2012 and received Zeiss Young Investigator Award for Zebrafish Research in 2015. Dr. Pan is interested in the regulatory role of signal transduction network in embryonic development and diseases of vascular and hematopoietic system, recently focusing on mechanism in the process of hematopoietic stem cell emergence from and retention into vascular niche.
